I cannot wait to share this engagement session with you all! I met Aly & Jesse for coffee months ago and ever since then, I have been so excited to photograph these two!
I remember grabbing my camera bag to head out the door minutes before their engagement session and seeing it POURING outside. I gave Aly & Jesse a call to reschedule but we ended up postponing the shoot for a just an hour. You guys, I am SO glad we did!! About 30 minutes later the sun came out and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky for the rest of the evening!
We started at a park in Kent, then went to Aly’s parents house which was located just a few minutes down the road. All I have to say is that I am insanely jealous of Aly’s childhood. Her parents house sits right on a gorgeous lake with the cutest little sand beach, I can only imagine the fun summer days she spent there growing up. I can’t believe some of these photos were taken IN her backyard!! Then, for our third and final location, we ended the evening in Downtown Kent.
