Megan & Cody’s intimate summer wedding day has quickly become a favorite of mine. It’s clear to me that it doesn’t matter whether the guest count is 150 or 15. Your wedding day may not be what you envisioned, but it is still everything you could’ve dreamed of and more. And I feel like that’s exactly how Megan & Cody felt throughout their wedding day.
Megan & Cody said their vows and became husband and wife in their home church with their families present. Afterwards they walked outside to a line of cars decorated with “just married” signs and happily greeted their family & friends. What a special moment that was to witness as their photographer! While we were busy taking photos, their families arrived back at the house and put together the most joyous celebration in Megan’s childhood home. They set everything up themselves and even made the most delicious homemade dinner. Megan & Cody had their first dance as husband and wife under the lights in the backyard and then we took the most incredible sunset photos on the water, with a very fun surprise at the end 😉
